Q1. What are the dates of the De Jam Festival ?

Q3. Who are the DJs at the Festival?

A3.  Dixie Gal Flex, DJ Scotty,Mr Slysta,702 Kevin Famous,Frisco,Sizeer plus more to be confirmed  


Q4. Do you have a hotel arrangement for the Festival?

A4. Yes, official accommodation partners are Jolly Harbour Villas, Buckley Heights Country Club and Tranqullity Bay. Please go to the General Information section of the De Jam Festival website for more information.  


Q5. Can I stay in another Hotel or Villa?

A5. Yes. Additional information about Hotels and Villas can be obtained by visiting the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism website at www.antigua-barbuda.org or the Hotel Association website at www.antiguahotels.org


Q6. What Airlines fly to Antigua and Barbuda?

A6. Many of the major airlines fly to Antigua including Virgin Atlantic and British Airways  from the UK; and American Airlines, Continental and Delta from the US. For other countries, visit the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism website at www.antigua-barbuda.org


Q7. Do you have a Festival Holiday Package Deal

A7. Yes, this includes your flights (British Airways or Virgin Atlantic), 7 nights accommodation (Jolly Harbour Villas for 2-4 people sharing or local Hotel for 1-2 people) and access to all festival activities. For more information contact Brightchoice.  


Q8. How much is the Festival Holiday Package Deal?

A8.  Prices for 7 nights start at £920 per person based on four people sharing a villa or 880 two people sharing a hotel room. There is a supplement if a hotel room is occupied by one person and if a villa is occupied by less than 4 people. See the Book Now page for exact prices.


Q9. If I choose to make my own travel arrangements, can I still attend the De Jam Festival?

A9. Yes, however, you would have to purchase an entertainment package to participate in the events.


Q10. How much is the entertainment package by itself?

A10 £220.00 UK pound sterling per person


Q11. What are the payment methods?

A11. All major credit and debit cards are accepted. You can book the Festival Holiday Package or the Entertainment Package online or directly with Brightchoice. 


Q12. When does all payment have to be completed?

A12. A non-refundable deposit of £120.00 secures your Entertainment package booking and the total balance must be paid by 31st August 2011. 


Q13. Does the Festival Package include insurance?

A13. No. This can be handled separately at an additional cost


Q14. Are children welcome to the De Jam Festival?

A14. The DeJam Festival is for adults, 18 years old and above only


Q15. Is there a babysitting service at the Hotel?

A15. Most hotels in Antigua may be able to accommodate this service. It is best to check this facility upon booking your travel arrangements. 


Q16. If they are promoters selling the Festival Package to their client’s and want to bring there own DJ’s, will the promoter get paid?

A16. A promoter has the choice of bringing his own DJ(s) at his own expense however; Brightchoice will pay a promoter a commission rate based on the number of Festival Packages sold. 


Q17. What is the commission rate for a Promoter?

A17. The commission is flexible and based upon the number of Festival packages sold. The more the promoter sells, the higher the commission rate. Promoters should contact Anthony Brightly at Brightchoice for more details. (0207 096 0490)


Q18. If a DJ wishes to participate in the Festival, can the program be adapted to accommodate

A18. Yes. The DeJam Festival hopes to encourage aspiring new talent and anyone wishing to raise their game with the world’s best DJs. 


Q19. Can I get a group discount for me and my friends when booking?

A19. Yes. A group discount is offered for 12 or more people on one booking. 


Q20. What is the weather like in Antigua-Barbuda?

A20. The weather is usually very warm, with the average temperature being approximately 27c / 81f.  


Q21. Is it easy to hire a car, motorbike or boat?

A21. Yes. This can be done in advance or while on the Island. Visit the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism website for more information.
